Barack Obama is scheduled to make an appearance in Bristol, VA tomorrow. Apparently, the Obama people called the Virginia High people yesterday to inquire about renting the facility for a town hall-style meeting.
The event will be held in the school gymnasium and is expected to begin about noon 11:45 a.m.
It is a ticketed event.
Tickets will be distributed Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Virginia High School and the Boucher for Congress campaign office in Abingdon. Tickets will also be available online at Obama’s website and at the United Mine Workers office in Castlewood, Va., on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

I could go, I guess. This event is only 64 miles from my home… that’s roughly 2.782608695652174 gallons of gas. So, I’d just have to ask myself… is it worth ten bucks or so to see the man who has made history with his campaign?
Nah. Not really.
