The HSLF appears to have endorsed Roe mostly because he’s not David Davis and/or because he publicly criticized Davis’ vote against the Animal Fighting Prohibition Enforcement Act.
Correction: Should read“Humane Society…” Roe is not endorsed by the entire Human Society. In fact, some of them don’t like him very much – particularly the former Davis supporters.

I don’t know. Never met his wife – so maybe the dog is better looking. Not trying to be mean or anything either. Just speculating.

Hell, that dog has a better hairstyle than I do… and could give my dog an self-loathing and inferiority complex. Of course, I try to keep in mind Phil Roe’s dog probably has people. Trainers and groomers and they’ve likely airbrushed out the doggie eye boogers, burs and whatnot.
