The debate of the United State House of Representative’s candidates for the 1st Tennessee Congressional District is available online for public download and distribution at “the detour.” The detour, a
non-commercial/non-profit community radio service focused primarily on the Appalachia region, was the only radio station present, “working for the community while the corporate stations merely played prerecorded political commentators.”
