School bus accidents have become alarmingly common in the United States, as have bus accidents in general, as evidenced by a recent bus acciden in North Texas which killed 17 persons. Consumers should check out bus lines as thoroughly as possible before booking a bus trip. But school children don’t have that option. That leaves it to parents and school officials to ensure that their buses are safe to operate and have safe drivers.
