Warren Wysong spent much of his time in the U.S. Air Force raising the American flag every morning, then lowering it every evening. Saturday, Wysong watched his 7-year-old grandson stand at attention and salute as he and his fellow Cub Scouts retired the Lester Volunteer Fire Department’s flag.

Zackery Kaeton and Jacob Eller, both 8, and T.J. Wysong, 7, … were proud of pulling off the ceremony.
“We worked real hard,” Eller said.
“We did good,” T.J. Wysong said with a hard nod.
