According to the Citizen Tribune, Berkline/BenchCraft LLC announced all upholstery manufacturing operations are being consolidated into expanded facilities in Morristown, a move which will result in an additional 200 jobs at the Morristown location. Â

The Kingsport Times-News reports the Mountaineer Restaurant will be closing after forty years of doing business in Hawkins County. According to owner Jim Lewis, the building will be torn down to make way for a Walgreens.
